The Huawei Mate 9 is now official. As promised, the flagship device was unveiled at a global event in Munich, Germany. The newest smartphone in the Mate series is powered by the Huawei’s Kirin 960 processor (it’s fastest yet) and joins the list of devices pre-installed with Android 7.0 Nougat OS.
The Huawei Mate 9 is slightly smaller than the Mate 8, as it features a unibody aluminum design, 5.9-inch 1080p FHD display with 2.5D glass and backed by a 4000mAh battery with SuperCharge (3.5-5V – 5A / 9V-2A) technology that promises full day of charge in 20 minutes.
One of the highlights is the rear place dual-lens camera by Leica – a 12MP RGB sensor alongside a 20MP monochrome sensor. There is also OIS, Hybrid Zoom, dual-tone LED flash, laser auto focus and Huawei’s own ISP. The front 8MP camera handles selfies and video chats.
