Following the launch of the Huawei NOVA and NOVA Plus smartphones, the company also announced the Huawei MediaPad M3. Poised as a great choice for media consumption, the slate has the footprints of both AKG and Harman/Kardon and is available in four specs configurations.
Running Android 6.0 Marshmallow OS with Huawei’s Emotion UI, the Huawei MediaPad M3 sports a stylish full metal body, 8.4-inch display with 2560 x 1600 pixels screen res, and is backed by a 5100mAh battery, which provides up to 11 hours of playing HD videos and up to 45 hours of audio playback time.
On the inside, the in-house produced Octa-Core Kirin 950 processor (4 x 2.3GHz + 4 x 1.8GHz) sits along with 4GB of RAM and either 32GB or 64GB built-in expandable storage space. The front home button houses the fingerprint sensor, which has 4-in-1 finger navigation.
The Huawei Mediapad M3 is equipped with Harman/Kardon certified dual stereo speakers, Super Wide Sound 3.0 and AKM chipset for Hi-Fi sound. There is also an optional headphone accessory (H3000 headphones) designed by AKG for Huawei.
The MediaPad M3 is available in Wi-Fi and LTE models, with the latter having a Nano SIM card slot. It will be available in Europe, the Middle East, and select markets across Asia on September 26. The 32GB/64GB Wi-Fi variants cost EUR 349 and EUR 399; while the LTE models cost EUR 399 and EUR 449.
