iQOO recently launched a new budget 5G smartphone – the iQOO Z3 5G in China. It is based on the Qualcomm Snapdragon 768G 7nm EUV Mobile Platform which provides 5G (SA/NSA) connectivity and comes with memory fusion technology to allow part of the internal storage be used as the RAM. The processor is accompanied by five layers of liquid-cooled heat dissipation system which promises up to 10 degrees of heat reduction.
The iQOO Z3 5G is built around a 6.58-inch FHD+ LCD display with HDR10+, 20:9 aspect ratio, 120Hz refresh rate and 180Hz touch sampling rate. The 16MP (f/2.0) selfie camera can be spotted in the dewdrop notch while the rear camera setup consists of a 64MP (f/1.79, EIS, Samsung ISOCELL GW3 sensor) main camera paired with 8MP (f/2.2) ultra-wide and 2MP (f/2.4) macro cameras.
The device has a side-mounted fingerprint sensor, 3.5mm audio jack, USB Type-C port, 4D haptic feedback system for handling in-game vibration, and a 4,400mAh battery with 55W fast charging. It is priced starting at CNY 1699 for the 6GB RAM with 128GB storage model; CNY 1,799 for the 8GB RAM with 128GB storage model; and CNY 1,999 for the 8GB RAM with 256GB storage model. Sales commence on April 1st.
