LG has officially taken the wraps of the LG G4c which is a compact or lets say a mini version of the flagship LG G4. There is no word on the pricing of the device but it would be available only in strategic markets including Europe.
The LG G4c (LG G4 compact) features a 5-inch (1280 x 720 pixels) HD display, powered by a quad-core processor clocked at 1.2GHz paired with 1GB of RAM and 8GB space of internal storage. For additional storage, there is a microSD card slot for storage expansion up to 64GB/128GB.
For photography, there is a rear facing 8-megapixels camera with LED flash and the front camera is a 5-megapixels snapper for selfies and video chats. There is also the popular Gesture Shot feature from LG which enables user take pictures by just making a hand gesture.
Connectivity options on the device includes – 4G LTE/3G, NFC, Bluetooth 4.1, GLONASS, A-GPS, USB 2.0 and 802.11 b/g/n Wi-Fi. The dimension of the G4c stands at 139.7 x 69.8 x 10.2 mm and weight at 136 grams; the device runs on Android 5.0 Lollipop OS out-of-the-box and is backed by a removable 2540mAh battery.
The LG G4c was announced alongside the LG G4 Stylus; both devices are the first series of available variants of the flagship LG G4.
