Oppo has officially announced the Oppo R9 and Oppo R9 Plus smartphones both devices in the company’s R series succeeds the R7 and R7 Plus respectively. Both device follow the similar good looking R series design, have integrated Real Audio Soundtrack system for quality audio output and runs Android 5.1 Lollipop OS with ColorOS 3.0 ontop.
Both devices have a Hybrid Dual Nano SIM slots, fingerprint sensor integrated into the home button which uses a zircon coating with a 8.5 Mohs and can unlock the phone in 0.2 seconds; the R9 will arrive in China for a price tag equivalent to US$ 430 starting April 12th while the R9 Plus will cost US$ 510.
Oppo R9
Made of metal and glass, the 6.6mm thin Oppo R9 sports a 5.5-inch Full HD AMOLED display with 1.66 mm thin bezels and about 77.68% screen-to-body ratio. The device relies on the Mediatek Helio P10 with 4GB of RAM, 64GB built-in storage space and 16MP/13MP camera combo on the front and rear.
