Tecno Mobile has released an official Unboxing video for their latest youth-focused smartphone – the Tecno Boom J7. The Dual-SIM smartphone belongs to the mid-range family but with most of the focus on the music experience and runs on Android Kitkat OS.
While most of the specifications and features of the Boom J7 are not a mystery, we will still go over it again. The device is a music centric one with emphasis placed on its ultimate music experience users would derive but users would definitely concerned about the battery life of the phone.
The Tecno Boom J7 sports a 5-inch (1280 x 720 pixels) HD IPS display, quad-core Mediatek processor clocked at 1.2GHz, 1GB of RAM, 16GB space of internal storage, a microsD card slot, rear facing 8MP main camera and 2MP front facing camera.
Other specs details of the Boom J7 includes – Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, 3G, Android 4.4 Kitkat OS and a 2020mAh battery capacity which last around 8 hours of mixed usage. The device has FM Radio, huge speaker grills, and comes with the Boom Player app for streaming and downloading music tracks.

The Tecno Boom J7 is already available in Kenya for Ksh 13,999; it is expected to be available in Nigeria at some point (maybe over the couple of weeks) for a price around N30,000 to N35,000.
