After a long series of leaks, Vivo has finally announced the Vivo X5Pro officially. The device is price at CNY 2698 (€390 / $443) and comes with some tricks under its sleeves.
The Vivo X5Pro comes with an aluminium body build and front glass with slightly curved edges. The phone uses a 5.2-inch (1920 x 1080 pixels) Full HD Super AMOLED display (424ppi) and 2.5D Gorilla glass ontop. Under the hood, It is powered by an Octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 processor (64-bit) paired with 2GB of RAM and 16GB space of internal storage. There is a microSD card slot for storage expansion (up to 128Gb).
On the rear there is a 13MP camera with Sapphire Glass protection and the front camera is a 8MP unit for selfies and video chats. The front camera can interpolated to be able to take pictures up to 32MP. The device also comes with Eye Recognition technology which would offer the same security features like the fingerprint scanner but this time the eyes would be scanned.
Connectivity options on the device includes – GPS, microUSB, Bluetooth 4.0, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n and 4G LTE. The Vivo X5Pro measures 147.9 × 73.45 × 6.44 mm in dimensions, supports Dual SIM functionality with LTE supports in both SIMS and runs on Funtouch OS 2.1 which is based on Android 5.0 Lollipop OS. It is backed by a 2500mAh battery.
