Chinese tablet maker, Onda has listed up a new tablet on its official website. Previously announced last month/year (December 2016), the Onda V10 Pro is pre-installed with Phoenix OS (based on Android Marshmallow OS) – an Android-as-Desktop OS which delivers a personal computer experience like the Remix OS. There is a task bar, start menu and desktop.
Housed in a sleek metal body and sporting a 10.1-inch IPS OGS display, the Onda V10 Pro has a screen resolution of 2560 x 1600 pixels (WQHD or 2K), 178-degree viewing angle and a pixel density of 300ppi. It measures 9.0mm thick, weighs 576 grams and packs a 6600mAh battery.
The slate relies on a quad-core Mediatek MT8173 processor clocked at 2.0GHz and 700MHz dual-core PowerVR GX625 GPU. Connectivity & port options on the slate includes – micro HDMI port, Bluetooth 4.0, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, 3.5 mm jack, micro-USB 2.0 port and USB OTG support.
In the imaging department, there is a rear facing 8MP camera with f/1.9 aperture and a front facing 2MP camera for selfies and video chats. The Onda V10 Pro is available in two options: the 2GB RAM/32GB storage model which costs CNY 999 and the 4GB RAM/64GB storage model which goes for CNY 1199.
