Onda has officially announced its first Core M based tablet PC – the Onda V116w Core M which is expected to break its cover very soon. The device uses the latest generation Core M processor which offers X86 architecture, supports Burst technology 2.0, low power consumption, and is created using the 14nm manufacturing process.
The highlight of this slate has to be the its processor; the Onda V116w Core M is powered by one of the latest Intel Core M processor – the Intel Core M, X8 processor which is made using a 14nm process.
The Core M processor is coupled with Intel HD Graphics 5300 GPU, runs on Windows 8.1 OS and a detachable Magnetic keyboard makes it usable as a laptop. It sports a 11.6-inch IPS capacitive touchscreen display with a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels (FHD) and 178-degree viewing angle.
The Onda V116w Core M has dual cameras (one on the front and another on the rear; USB 3.0 port, HDMI support, 802.11 b/g/n Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 4.0 are connectivity options. Onda has decided to release little information about the upcoming slate and there is no doubt it would have a price between a range of $200 – $400.
