Onda, one of the active Chinese tablet makers, has a new tablet hitting the shelves soon. Known as the Onda V80 Plus, the new tablet gives users the joy of similar Dual Boot OS devices around – i.e deciding to run either Windows 10 Home (64-bit) or Android 5.1 Lollipop OS. Switching to and fro each environment is said to be by ‘one click switch’.
Moving to the specifications, the Onda V80 Plus sports a 8-inch display with 1920 x 1200 pixels (WUXGA), 10-point touch support and 16:10 aspect ratio. It is powered by a quad-core Intel Atom x5-Z8300 64-bit processor clocked at 1.44GHz along with 2GB of RAM and 32GB built-in storage space.
Weighing in at 325 grams and measuring 205 x 123 x 8.5 mm in dimensions; the slate has a microSD card slot for storage expansion up to 128GB, front and rear facing 2 Megapixels camera, and is backed by a moderate 4200mAh battery, that should provide up to 6 hours of battery life.
The Onda V80 Plus sports a full metal body build which has undergone the CNC technology process and the following ports and connectivity options – Micro HDMI port, 3.5mm audio combo jack, Bluetooth 4.0 and connects to the Internet wirelessly (Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n). It also supports 4K video play.
