Onda has announced a Windows 10 OS based tablet – the Onda V919 Air CH. The company unveiled the product via it official Weibo account; only most of the key specs of the tablet was confirmed with no mention of the price tag.
Running Windows 10 OS out-of-the-box, the Onda V919 Air CH tablet features a 9.7-inch IPS Retina Display with a resolution of 2048 x 1536 pixels, a pixel density of 264ppi, 178-degree wide viewing angle and a 4:3 aspect ratio. On the back lies the main 5MP Autofocus camera and a 2MP camera on the front.
The slate is powered by an Intel Cherry Trail (Intel Atom X5-Z8500) processor with 8th-Gen Intel HD graphics, 4GB of RAM and an ample 64GB internal storage space with the option to add up to 128GB more via a microSD card slot. This potentially means the tablet offers roughly up to 192GB of storage.
Connectivity options on the Onda V919 Air CH includes – USB OTG, microUSB v2.0, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0 and GPS. Measuring 240 x 170 x 7.9mm in dimensions and weighing around 450 grams, the device also supports OTG to external Ethernet card and is backed by a 8000mAh battery to keeps the lights on.
There is no official word on pricing yet, the Onda V919 Air CH is expected to have a price tag of $369.99 based on the listing of some online retailers which have the tablet out of stock.
