Since the OnePlus One, Chinese-based OnePlus has always prided itself in releasing flagship killer smartphones and the trend carried on into the OnePlus 2 which saw a VR-based announcement. The company is said to be finishing works on the OnePlus 3 (OnePlus A3000) which is widely tipped to hit the markets in due course.
Some of the key OnePlus 3 Specs as seen on the benchmark listing starts off with 5.5-inch display with 1920 x 1080 pixels (Full HD) screen resolution which should result in a pixel density of 401ppi. Under the hood sits the Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 processor with quad kryo cores along with Adreno 530 GPU and 4GB of RAM.
Internal storage space stands at 32GB which could (or not) be expandable. In the camera segment, there is a rear facing 16-megapixel camera and a front facing 8-megapixel camera for shooting selfies and video chats. It is expected to run OxygenOS based on Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow OS.
OnePlus is taking a subtle approach to the OnePlus 3 this year compared to previous years; this could be, because the OnePlus 2 didn’t quite turn out to be a flagship killer as the company marketed it to be. A possible April launch date could see the device go official but don’t be suprised if it doesn’t turn out as expected.
