OnePlus has officially confirmed the existence, availability and launch details of its next flagship. The OnePlus 5T launch event will be held in Brooklyn, New York at 11:00 AM ET (4:00 PM GMT) on November 16. Tickets to the event will go on sale on the brand’s official website from November 8th for $40. It will also be available for live-streaming online.
Expected to slot right ahead of the OnePlus 5, the OnePlus 5T will be the first smartphone from the company with a ‘FullView or FullScreen’ display. It will be available in Europe and North America starting from November 21 and the Chinese market will get the 5T at the beginning of December.
Early bird offers (flash sale) will be available on November 21 in India while official sales commence a week later on November 28. According to sources, the 5T will have a Optic AMOLED 18:9 display with 2160 x 1080 pixels (FHD+) resolution, 8GB of RAM, front facing 20MP camera and 128GB built-in storage.
The rest include: 20MP + 16MP Dual rear cameras, Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 octa-core processor and fingerprint sensor. While there have been speculation that either the Oppo R11s or R11s Plus will end up as the OnePlus 5T, the company only confirmed the presence of the 3.5mm headphone jack.
