According to multiple sources, this new model will have a fullscreen display with waterdrop notch and the ‘Unlock The Speed’ tagline point to the inclusion of an in-display fingerprint sensor. OnePlus is also dropping the 3.5mm audio jack for the first time ever in favour of USB-C audio.
The device is expected to have a 6.41-inch Optic AMOLED display with Gorilla Glass protection, same front and rear cameras as the OnePlus 6, Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 octa-core mobile platform, up to 8GB of RAM and a bigger battery capacity (3,700mAh) with Dash Charge. It could boot Android Pie out-of-the-box and there is no wireless charging nor official wireless rating.
