As part of the ongoing OnePlus 6T roll-out, OnePlus has added a Thunder Purple colour to the existing Midnight Black and Mirror Black options in China. The OnePlus 6T Thunder Purple version is available only in 8GB RAM + 128GB storage version and is priced at CNY 3,599 (USD 521).
Somewhat similar to Samsung’s Lavender Purple for the Galaxy Note 9 or Lilac Purple in the Galaxy S9 Series, the OnePlus 6T Thunder Purple colour has a light purple/lavender colour from the base (to more than half-way) while the top area of the phone is still black.
Asides the appearance change, the phone’s hardware remains the same. It packs a 6.41-inch Optic AMOLED display with Waterdrop Notch and 86% screen-to-body ratio, in-Display Fingerprint Sensor, Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 Octa-Core Mobile Platform, 16MP + 20MP dual rear cameras, 16MP front camera, USB Type-C port (audio and charging) and a 3,700mAh battery. It is pre-loaded with the China-exclusive Hydrogen OS.
