OnePlus’ next flagship device, the OnePlus 3 has payed visit to TENAA under the moniker – ONEPLUS A3000 for certification. As expected, the agency listing shows the possible design of the device along with the expected specs which tallies with the one from benchmark.
OnePlus seems to have ditched its signature sandstone body finish for a full metal body which resembles the HTC 10. It sports a 5.5-inch (1920 x 1080 pixels) Full HD AMOLED display, measures 152.6 x 74.6 x 7.3 mm in dimensions, weighs in at 160 grams and is backed by a 3000mAh battery.
On the inside, it relies on the Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 processor along with 4GB of RAM, 64GB built-in storage space and runs Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow OS out-of-the-box. For photography, there is a rear facing 16-megapixel camera and a front facing 8-Megapixel selfie camera.
The OnePlus 3 is rumoured to launch on June 14 in a VR event like the OnePlus 2. The company has teamed up with AntVR to give out free headsets (OnePlus Loop VR) to view the event for free. There is no word on pricing yet but expect it to sell lower than current Android flagships in the market such as the LG G5 and Samsung Galaxy S7 (& Galaxy S7 Edge).
