OnePlus recently launched the Nord N200 5G budget smartphone in the US. It is based on the Qualcomm Snapdragon 480 5G mobile platform and available in a single RAM plus storage configuration – 4GB (LPDDR4x) + 64GB (UFS 2.1) and storage is expandable up to 256GB via microSD. It is available from Amazon, Best Buy, and B&H from US$ 239.99 and on sale at T-Mobile and Metro by T-Mobile from US$ 216 or $9/month for 24 months.
The OnePlus Nord N200 5G has a 6.49-inch FHD+ IPS LCD display with 20:9 aspect ratio, 90Hz refresh rate and 2.5D cover glass. It is equipped with a side-mounted fingerprint sensor, 16MP (f/2.05) selfie camera in the punch-hole notch on the top left corner with Face Unlock, and triple camera setup with 13MP (f/2.2, EIS) main + 2MP (f/2.4) macro + 2MP (f/2.4) monochrome sensors with LED flash.
The rest of the specs include USB Type-C port, 3.5mm headphone jack, and 5,000mAh battery with 18W fast charging. As at the time of writing, the OnePlus Nord N200 5G only work on T-Mobile’s 5G network due sub-6GHz 5G support not mmWave and and 4G-only on both AT&T and Verizon. It comes pre-loaded with OxygenOS 11 (based on Android 11) and lasts up to 28.6 hours of talk-time.
