While the company has confirmed it would release two smartphones this year – the OnePlus 2 (OnePlus Two) and another low-end device for the masses; both smartphones are expected to launch later (Q2/Q3 tipped) this year.
Judging by the fact that the OnePlus One smartphone launched April 2014, the company may announce the successor. The OnePlus Two/OnePlus 2 is expected to sport a 5.5-inch QuadHD display, powered by the octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 processor, 4GB of RAM and 64GB space of internal storage.
Other possible specs details includes – OxygenOS (based on Android 5.0 Lollipop Os), 16MP main camera, 5MP front camera, a microSD card slot, fingerprint scanner and 3300mAh battery. The OnePlus 2 is expected to be more expensive than its predecessor as the company claimed it didn’t make any profit on it.
Asides the rumoured specs of the OnePlus 2, there is no clear cut information on the other low-end smartphone from the Chinese company. Whatever it is OnePlus has to announce, we have that date circled already so we would be keeping an eye out for that.
