Chinese OEM, OnePlus has confirmed an upcoming event for India next week where it is expected to announce their second device of the year – the OnePlus X (or OnePlus 2 Mini). This is the first time ever the company would announce two devices in a year but there is a first time for everything, right?
The invite for the event sent out reads ‘The Next Big Step’, hinting the company is ready to launch the widely claimed mini version of the OnePlus 2 – the Oneplus X. The event would take place in Bengaluru, India and will be anchored by OnePlus CEO and founder, Pete Lau with OnePlus India General Manager, Vikas Agarwal also in attendance.
Moving the rumoured OnePlus X Specs, the device is expected to sport a 5 to 5.5-inch FHD display, 64-bit octa-core Mediatek Helio X10 processor, 2GB RAM, 32GB internal storage, 4G LTE, OxygenOS (based on Android Lollipop OS), rear facing 13MP main camera with Dual lens, 5MP front facing camera for selfies, USB Type-C and a 3100mAh battery.
