Oppo A51 certified on TENAA with Snapdragon 410 SoC

Oppo has an upcoming device from the A Series of smartphone, the budget based Oppo A51 has been certified on TENAA in China. There is no word on the pricing of the device but since it has been certified in China, it should see a launch date soon.

The A51 looks like an upgrade to the Oppo A31 but comes with an improved specs, the same Dual Glass design and comes with a non-removable battery. However the RAM has been improved from 1GB to 2GB, the battery capacity is now higher – 2420mAh compared to 2000mAh and the display resolution has been improved too.

Moving to the detailed specs, the Oppo A51 sports a 5-inch (1280 x 720 pixels) HD display and is powered by a quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 processor clocked at 1.2GHz with Adreno 306 GPU. Handling tasks on the device is 2GB of RAM and there is 16GB space of internal storage.

On the rear, there is a 8MP camera with LED flash and a front facing 5MP camera. The device supports 4G LTE (TD-LTE networks) and is backed by a 2420mAh battery. It is expected to run on Android 5.x Lollipop OS with the company’s UI ontop.
