Chinese Telco provider, China Telecom has teamed up with Oppo to announce the entry-level Oppo A51kc, a Dual-Mode LTE enabled smartphone for China. The device is available in White colour only and is on sale in the home country for CNY 1299 ($209) by the carrier.
Moving to the specs, the Oppo A51kc sports a 5-inch IPS LCD display with a resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels (HD) and practically has the same body design as most of the other smartphones in the Oppo Axx series.
It runs ColorOS 2.1 based on Android 5.1 Lollipop OS and is backed by a decent 2400mAh battery.Under the hood, it powered by a 64-bit quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 MSM8916 processor clocked at 1.2GHz paired with Adreno 306 GPU, 1GB of RAM and 8GB space of expandable internal storage.
The device supports the following networks – FDD-LTE, TD-LTE, W-CDMA, CDMA2000, GSM.For photography, the rear facing main camera is a 8 Megapixels AutoFocus snapper with LED flash and the front facing camera is a 5 Megapixels snapper for selfies.
Connectivity options on the A51kc includes – 4G LTE (LTE Cat.4)/3G HSPA+, Bluetooth 4.0, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, micro USB 2.0 and GPS. The Oppo A51kc has Dual SIM (Nano + Micro) slots with Dual Standby, supports LTE in both SIM and packs a microSD card slot for storage expansion up to 128GB.
