More than a month after the launch of the OPPO A7x (a variant of the F9/F9 Pro), the Chinese company has unveiled the standard OPPO A7. It sports a 6.2-inch (1520 x 720 pixels) HD+ FullView 2.5D curved glass display with waterdrop notch and up to 88.3% screen-to-body.
Internally, the OPPO A7 relies on the Qualcomm Snapdragon 450 14nm Mobile Platform and boots ColorOS 5.2 (based on Android 8.1 Oreo). It is also one of the the first mid-tier device from OPPO to feature its in-house Hyper Boost technology for smoother gaming experience.
The device is paired with 4GB RAM + 64GB storage for China while other markets starting with Nepal will get the 3GB RAM + 32GB storage model. Both models feature a microSD card slot (supports up to 256GB cards), fingerprint sensor, 3.5 mm audio jack and USB OTG.
Photography is handled by a 13MP (f/2.2) + 2MP (f/2.4) dual rear cameras with Dual LED flash and a front facing 16MP (f/2.0) camera with AR Stickers. It measures 156.1 x 75.7 x 8.2mm, weighs 170 grams and depends on a 4,230mAh built-in battery.
Starting November 22, it will go on sale in China for CNY 1,599 (USD 231) while in Nepal, it is priced higher at NPR 35,790 (USD 312) in Nepal. Amber Gold, Fresh Pink and Lake Green are the available gradient colour options.
