Back in March, Oppo released the selfie focused Oppo F3 Plus with dual front cameras in India without the main F3. From the look of things, the company is ready to release Oppo F3, as the device has surfaced in multiple sources (benchmark, video, etc.) and launch is expected much later this week (May 4).
Spotted on Benchmark websites – GFXbench and Geekbench as the Oppo CPH1609, the F3 has dual front cameras – 16MP + 8MP like the F3 Plus, 7.3mm thin body and Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection on its 5.5-inch FHD display. It has a single-core sore of 763 and a multi-core score of 2793 on Geekbench.
As expected, the device has its fingerprint sensor embedded in the home button and runs Android 6.0 Marshmallow OS with Color OS 3.0 on top. It has a hybrid Dual SIM slot and relies on an octa-core Mediatek MT6750T processor clocked at 1.5GHz, paired with 4GB of RAM and 64GB built-in expandable storage.
Backed by a 3200mAh Li-ion battery, the Oppo CPH1609 (F3) also has a rear facing 13MP camera with 1080p Full HD video recording and the front cameras have a befitting 120-degree wide angle view for capturing selfies. There is no word on pricing yet, however, it should cost less than the F3 Plus (Rs. 30,990).
