Oppo has officially announced the long teased self acclaimed ‘Selfie Expert’ smartphone – the Oppo F1s. The selfie-centric phablet-sized phone is available in Grey, Gold and Rose Gold colour options. It carries a hefty Rs. 17990 (US$ 269) price tag and will be available in India starting August 11 via Amazon India and Retail stores across the country.

The standout feature of the latest F series device is the front facing 16MP Sensor with a 1/3.1″ sensor and f/2.0 aperture for selfies. The camera app includes features such as Beautify 4.0 Suite, Photo Filters, Selfie Panorama, Voice Command, Screen Flash and Gesture Shot.
The main camera is a 13MP sensor with f/2.2 aperture, PDAF and 1/3.06″ sensor. The device has the same body design as the Oppo F1 and F1 Plus – sporting the aluminium metal body build with 2.5D Curved glass covering and the fingerprint scanner is embedded into the home button.
The fingerprint sensor unlocks the device in 0.22 second and can also be used to launch apps quickly. Although the display looks somewhatt sharp, the Oppo F1s only manages a 720p HD screen resolution and runs Android 5.1 Lollipop OS with the coompany’s Color OS 3.0 atop.
