The OPPO F5 launch date has been officially confirmed. According to a teaser released on social media, the mid-tier device is set to become the first OPPO phone with FullScreen or Full View FHD+ (2160 x 1080 pixels) 18:9 display as the unveiling will happen on the 26th of October in the Philippines.
It will be available on sale in the following Asian markets: China, India, Indonesia, Malaysia, Myanmar, the Philippines, Thailand and Vietnam.
The OPPO F5 is expected to feature a 6-inch (2160 x 1080 pixels) Full HD+ FullScreen or FullView 18:9 display with minimal bezels, up to 6GB of RAM and a large capacity 4,000mAh battery. For photography, there is a rear facing 20MP camera with LED flash and front 16MP selfie camera.
Oppo could also launch a Plus model (OPPO F5 Plus) with Dual Front cameras. The device will also come with the company’s A.I. Beauty Recognition tech for selfies.The self-learning artificial intelligence feature analyses a number of conditions such as skin tone and type recognition, age, gender, lighting condition of the environment and more to beautify a selfie shot.
