OPPO has launched its latest F series smartphone – the OPPO F7 at a launch event in Mumbai, India. The Selfie-Focused device has a large 6.23-inch FullView Full HD+ 19:9 display with 88% screen-to-body ratio and front facing 25MP (f/2.0) camera with support for sensor HDR, AI Beauty 2.0 and AR stickers.
The OPPO F7, successor to the Oppo F5 series, comes pre-loaded with ColorOS 5.0 based on Android 8.1 Oreo OS and a single rear facing 16MP (f/1.8) camera with AI Scene recognition. It is powered by a 2.0GHz Mediatek Helio P60 processor and is available in 4GB + 64GB and 6GB + 128GB RAM and storage options.
OPPO is also releasing a special Sunrise Red and Diamond Black edition of the F7 with 6GB of RAM and 128GB built-in storage. The OPPO F7 Sunrise Red has a unique glass body that shimmers like gemstones while the F7 Diamond Black has a multi-layered metallic and glass back cover that glows like diamond.

Pricing and Availability
Available in Moonlight Silver and Solar Red colours, the OPPO F7 is priced at INR 21,990 (US$ 339) for the 4GB RAM model and INR 26,990 (US$ 416) for the 6GB RAM model. The F7 will be available online exclusively via Flipkart as well as offline stores starting April 9.
OPPO will also hold a 24 hours flash sale on April 2 on Flipkart and OPPO online store. During the sale, up to 10,000 smartphones will be up for grabs with additional 120GB 4G data from Jio, one-time free screen replacement within one year from authorized service centers and more.
The specifications are good. The AI-based camera is also a new feature given in this device. There are no RAM heating issues in this device and the front camera works on many software algorithms.
