The OPPO K3 is the latest entrant to the Chinese brand’s K smartphone series in China. The device has a pop-up selfie camera like the OPPO Find X, OPPO F11 Pro, Huawei P Smart Z, OnePlus 7 Pro, Vivo V15 Pro, Vivo S1 Pro , Realme X/X Lite and Archos Diamond; and is based on the Qualcomm Snapdragon 710 mobile platform paired with up to 8GB RAM, up to 256GB built-in storage and GameBoost 2.0.
The OPPO K3 has a notch-less 6.5-inch Full HD+ AMOLED 19.5:9 display with 91.1% screen-to-body and DC dimming, next-gen in-display fingerprint scanner, USB Type-C port and 3D gradient back with S shaped curve like the OPPO Reno series. It comes pre-loaded with ColorOS 6.0 (based on Android 9 Pie) and power is supplied by a 3,765mAh battery with VOOC 3.0 fast charging (5V/4A) technology.
Photography is handled by 16MP + 2MP dual rear cameras and a 16MP (f/2.0) pop-up selfie camera. The device will go on sale in China from June 1, 2019 and arrives in Green, Nebula Purple and White colours. Pricing start at CNY 1,599 for the 6GB RAM with 64GB storage model; CNY 1,899 for the 8GB RAM with 128GB storage model and CNY 2,299 for the 8GB RAM with 256GB storage model.
