Although the Oppo N3 went official towards the end of October; the device seems to have just been certified in China by TENAA. This could be because the device is not yet available in the market with a potential end of 2014 date scheduled.
The Oppo N3 is the successor of the Oppo N1, which packs an auto-rotating camera sensor. The highlight is obviously the 16MP rotating camera with Dual-LED flash; rotates up to 206 degrees; f/2.2 aperture and auto-rotates when taking panoramas and selfies. The device also has a fingerprint scanner which is placed below the camera and offers security functions to the device.
Other features of the Oppo N3 includes – 5.5-inch Full HD IPS display; 2GB of RAM; 32GB of internal storage; a microSD card slot; Quad-core Qualcomm snapdragon 801 processor which clocks at 2.3GHz; and runs on Color OS 2.0 (based on Android 4.s Kikat OS).
Oppo N3 packs a 3000mAh battery and supports the company’s VOOC charging tech; has a Single SIM and Dual-SIM version; supports the standard connectivity suite including 4G LTE; weighs 192 grams; measures 161.2 x 77 x 8.7mm; and also supports NFC.
The smartphone has a ¥3999 (around $642) price tag; since it has been certified in China it could go on sale very soon. It is expected to arrive in 20 other markets (including China) probably in coming days (the end of 2014).
