Oppo is expected to launch the Oppo R15 and R15 Plus smartphones later this month. The new R15 series smartphone, which has been certified by China’s TENAA, will have a Fullscreen display with narrow frames, high screen-to-body ratio, rear fingerprint sensor and dual rear cameras.
According to the certification website, the Oppo R15 Specs starts off with a large 6.28-inch AMOLED display with 19:9 aspect ratio and 2280 x 1080 pixels (Full HD+) resolution. The brand already confirmed that the device will have a 1.78 mm narrow frame and 90% screen-to-body ratio.
The device is packed in a metal body frame with glass back and is backed by a 3,365mAh battery with VOOC Flash charging. Internally, it relies on Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 660 octa-core Mobile Platform paired with 6GB of RAM and boots Android 8.1 Oreo OS with ColorOS on top.
Photography on the R15 is handled by a rear facing 16MP camera with dual-tone LED flash alongside a secondary 5MP camera. The front facing camera has a 20MP sensor for selfies. It also feature a USB Type-C port, 128GB built-in storage and a microSD card slot for storage expansion up to 256GB.
PS: The Oppo R15 Plus will have a slightly bigger display and battery than the main R15.
