Oppo is expected to launch the Oppo R7 and the Oppo R7 Plus smartphones on May 20. Both devices has been subjected to several leaked informations, has been certified on TENAA and has even been spotted in a TV advert which is aired in China obviously.
The Oppo R7 Plus has been spotted on GFXBench confirming some of its specs. The R7 Plus is expected to be a bigger variant of the Oppo R7 and lives up to the hype with a 5.9-inch (1920 x 1080 pixels) Full HD display and is powered by an octa-core MediaTek MT6795M processor clocked at 1.9GHz with Imagination Technologies PowerVR Rogue G6200 GPU.
Handling tasks on the device is 3GB of RAM and there is 32GB space of internal storage with 26GB available to user. There could be a microSD card slot for storage expansion (GFX bench doesn’t confirm that). The main camera is listed as 7MP which means a 8MP camera and the rear camera is likely a 8MP camera too.
The Oppo R7 Plus is said to integrate a fingerprint sensor below the camera (this is visible on the second image) and a bezel-less (edge-to-edge) display. The device is expected to have the same magnesium-alloy back and could have a higher camera resolution higher than the listed 8MP unit. It would boot Android 5.0 Lollipop OS out-of-the-box.
