Oppo has announced the Oppo R7s launch date, the device is expected to go official at an event scheduled for October 18th in Dubai. The R7s has already surfaced on TENAA and most of its key specs has been confirmed but the company could be withholding some surprises.
In terms of specifications, the Oppo R7s sports a 5.5-inch AMOLED display with a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels (FHD), powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 processor clocked at 1.5GHz with Adreno 430 GPU, 3GB of RAM and 32GB internal storage space.
For photography, the device has a rear facing 13 megapixels camera with LED flash and a front facing 8 megapixels camera for selfies. There is no proof of the presence of a microSD card slot but if present, it would support up to 128GB cards.
The Oppo R7s measures 151.8 x 75.4 x 6.7 mm in dimensions, weighs 200 grams, has Dual SIM slots, runs Android 5.1.1 Lollipop OS and is backed by an ample 4100mAh battery which could end up as one of the selling points.
Oppo’s R7s joins the R7 series of devices which includes the Oppo R7, R7 Plus and P7 Lite. The company is expected to showcase the Oppo R7 Plus, R7 Lite and Mirror 5.
