Chinese smartphone manufacturer, Oppo is looking set for a busy end of the year. The company announced the Oppo 3007 64-bit smartphone some days ago and two smartphones believed to be in the R range of smartphone lineup has been spotted on TENAA.
The two R smartphones set to be released soon by the company is the Oppo R8205 and the Oppo R8200. Both device basically share the same specifications with just a minor but significant difference separating them.
The difference between the Oppo R8200 and the Oppo R8205 is that both devices supports 4G LTE but the Oppo R8205 also supports CDMA networks.
Specs wise they both use the same – 5-inch (1280 x 720 pixels) HD TFT display, an octa-core Cortex A7 CPU clocked at 1.5GHz, 2GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage. Both device has the same glossy backplate design in either White or Blue colour option which reminds one of the Oppo R1.
Both models would have a rear facing 13MP sensor with LED flash, capable of 1080p video recording and a front facing 5MP camera. Both the Oppo R8200 and the Oppo R8205 are expected to run on Android 4.4.4 Kitkat OS.
They both weigh 130grams, measure 140.6 x 70.1 x 6.85mm, support only a Single SIM card slot but there is no word on if it would have expandable storage. Connectivity options includes – 4G, 3G, Bluetooth 4.0, micro USB and 802.11 b/g/n Wi-Fi while G-Sensor, Gravity sensor, Proximity and Light sensor are available sensor options on the device.
There is no official information on when these mid-range smartphones would go official so is the pricing and availability details. As long as the devices has passed through the certification agency, they could go official in the nearest future.
