OPPO has announced three new smartphones under the new Reno 6 series – the Reno 6, Reno 6 Pro and Reno 6 Pro+. The trio, which have the same FHD+ screen resolution, 90Hz screen refresh rate, and punch-hole notch for the front camera, whilst also offering up to 12GB of RAM and 65W fast charging support, are the direct successor to the OPPO Reno 5, Reno 5 Pro and Reno 5 Pro+.
OPPO Reno 6 and Reno 6 Pro
The Reno 6 has a flat 6.43-inch AMOLED display and depends on the MediaTek Dimensity 900 octa-core processor while the Pro has a slightly bigger 6.55-inch AMOLED display and features the MediaTek Dimensity 1200 octa-core processor. Both models come pre-loaded with ColorOS 11.3 (based on Android 11 OS) and depend on a 4,300mAh battery with 65W fast charging.
Photography on the Reno 6 is handled by a triple camera system made up of a 64MP (f/1.7, 81o FOV) main + 8MP (f/2.2, 119 – 120o FOV) ultrawide and 2MP (f/2.4, 89o FOV) macro cameras while the Pro model includes an extra 2MP (f/2.4, 89o FOV) Black and White camera and the main camera includes PDAF. The rest of the specs include 32MP (f/2.4, 81 – 85o FOV) selfie camera, Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection, Face and fingerprint unlock, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.2, USB Type-C and NFC (Pro only).
OPPO Reno 6 Pro+
The Pro+ (Pro Plus) has the same 6.55-inch display as the Pro Model, however, the processor has been upgraded to the Qualcomm Snapdragon 870 octa-core mobile platform. The rear camera setup includes a 50MP (f/1.8, OIS, 84o FOV) main camera paired with 16MP (f/2.2, 123o FOV) ultra-wide-angle, 2MP (f/2.4, 89o FOV) macro and 13MP (f/2.4, 45o FOV) telephoto cameras. The rest of the specs is the same as the Reno 6 Pro.

- Pricing for the OPPO Reno 6 starts at CNY 2,799 for the basic model (8GB RAM + 128GB storage) and the higher model (12GB RAM + 256GB storage) costs CNY 3,199.
- The OPPO Reno 6 Pro starts at CNY 3,499 for the 8GB RAM + 128GB storage model and CNY 3,799 for the 12GB RAM + 256GB storage model.
- The OPPO Reno 6 Pro+ start at CNY 3,999 for the 8GB RAM + 128GB storage model and CNY 4,499 for the 12GB RAM + 256GB storage model.
