Oppo just announced two solid smartphones into the market; the Oppo N3 with auto-rotating camera and the World Slimmest smartphone yet – the Oppo R5 with 4.85mm thickness. But the company is looking to launch another device in the market hopefully before the year runs-out in form of the Oppo U3.
The midrange Oppo U3 has been spotted on GFX Benchmark listing being put through its paces as a result we got to see most of the device’s specs. It packs a 4.6-inch 1080p touchscreen display, powered by an Octa-core MediaTek MT6752 SoC which clocks at 1.7GHz with ARM Mali-T760 GPU and 2GB of RAM.
One major point of note however is the listing suggests the device would come with 1.1GB inbuilt storage but looking at the device it could have at least a total of 4GB of internal storage (the listing states only available storage). Other specs details of the Oppo U3 includes – a 12 MP rear camera with 4K (UHD) video recording support, a 5 MP front camera with 1080p video capture, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS and runs on Android 4.4.4 KitKat.
That’s all that is available on the Oppo U3, we will follow up details and bring more information once we get more. A possible November or December launch date is tipped for the launch date; we will just have to wait and see.
