Microsoft has announced that the Microsoft Surface Hub, a powerful business tool to collaborate and brainstorm would be available for orders starting July 1 in 24 markets around the world including the US, UK, Japan, Australia, Germany, Canada, United Arab Emirates (UAE) and France.
The Microsoft Surface Hub which was launched earlier this year in January would be available in two display configurations – a 55-inch version which costs $6,999 and a 84-inch version which costs $19,999.
The all-in-one PC is more directed to the Corporate and Business environments not the consumer related ones. The display is a 4K resolution with touch sensitive and is sensitive to movement too. There is support for multitouch finger input or multiple digital pen input, dual 1080p front facing cameras and array of sensors and microphones.
As expected the Microsoft Surface Hub runs Windows 10 and leverage the power of the new universal OS platform with Skype for Business, Office, OneNote, and Windows 10 universal apps. Both the 55-inch and 84-inch Surface Hub would also take advantage of the Windows Update for Business which would provide access to the latest innovations and security updates.
Shipping of the Microsoft Surface Hub and other related accessories would start in September to the following markets – Australia, Austria, Belgium, Canada, Denmark, France, Finland, Germany and Ireland.
The remaining countries are – Italy, Japan, Luxembourg, Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway, Portugal, Qatar, Singapore, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, United Arab Emirates, the United Kingdom and United States of America.
