Oukitel has officially confirmed the Pre-Sale date and specs of the entry-level Oukitel C3 smartphone. The company describes the device as the “first 5-inch, MT6580 device that arrives with Android 6.0 Marshmallow out-of-the-box in the world” which seems to be true.
Featuring a diamond-like faceted back design which also ensures a firm grip on the hand; the Oukitel C3 sports a 5-inch display made by AUO with 1280 x 720 pixels (HD) resolution, a pixel density of 294ppi and is backed by a moderate 2000mAh battery with intelligent power saving system.
Under the hood, the Android 6.0 Marshmallow OS powered device relies on a quad-core Mediatek MT6580 processor clocked at 1.3GHz and is paired with a single-core ARM Mali-400 MP1 GPU, 1GB of RAM and 8GB built-in storage space which should be expandable via a microSD card.
For photography, the Oukitel C3 sports a rear facing 8-megapixel camera with LED flash and front facing 2-megapixel camera for selfies and video chats. It is expected to support 2G & 3G networks only and standard connectivity options.
