Oukitel has unveiled the 4G version of the C8 shortly after the launch of the C8 3G version. The Oukitel C8 4G is a bit different from the original model as it is now powered by the Mediatek MT6737 chipset with support for LTE connectivity as opposed the C8’s MTK6750A which only supports 2G and 3G networks.
Housed in a glossy plastic body, the Oukitel C8 4G sports a 5.5-inch display with HD+ resolution, 18:9 aspect ratio and 2.5D curved glass, rear fingerprint sensor with 0.1s unlock time and is available in five colour options: Midnight Black, Orchid Purple, Sky Blue, Sunny Gold and Rosy Pink.
On the inside, the C8 4G boots Android 7.0 Nougat OS and relies a 1.3GHz quad-core Mediatek MT6737 processor paired with 2GB of RAM and 16GB built-in storage space (expandable up to 64GB via microSD). It is backed by a 3,000mAh battery (5V/1A charge) with enough power to last the whole day long.
Photography is handled by a single 13MP AF camera with LED flash and front facing 5MP camera for selfies and video chats. As the name suggests, it supports 4G LTE networks – FDD: B1/ 3/ 7/ 20. The Oukitel C8 4G is priced at $89.99 and pre-sale is expected to commence during the 11/11 or Singles day shopping festival in China.
