Oukitel has announced another battery packed device, the 5-inch smartphone which is expected to last a week of usage on a single charge. There is no word on pricing yet but several third party websites have listed the device up for sale.
The Oukitel K4000 promises a battery life of 7 days normal usage and 3 days heavy usage on a 4000mAh battery. To prove the K4000 has a screen that is indestructible, the device can be used to crack around 600 walnuts before it cracks; get handled by a hammer and survive being run over by a car.
Moving to the other specs, the Oukitel K4000 sports a 5-inch HD display with Corning Gorilla Glass protection, powered by a quad-core Mediatek MT6735 processor clocked at 1.3GHz paired with 2GB of RAM and 16GB space of internal storage. There is a microSD card slot for storage expansion up to 64GB.
On the back, there is a rear facing 13MP camera with LED flash and a front facing 5MP camera for selfies. Connectivity options on the device includes – Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, USB OTG, 4G LTE. The device supports Dual Micro SIM slots with Dual standby and runs Android 5.1 Lollipop OS out-of-the-box.
