Chinese smartphone maker, Oukitel has joined recent 18:9 FullScreen display and dual rear cameras trend with the launch of the Oukitel K5. The latest K series entrant sports a 5.7-inch (1440 x 720 pixels) HD+ display with 2.5D curved glass on top and 3D Curved backplate crafted using IML process.
Internally, the Oukitel K5 is powered by a quad-core Mediatek MT6737T 64-bit processor paired with 2GB of RAM and 16GB built-in expandable storage. It is equipped a primary 13MP rear camera paired with a secondary 2MP camera to capture depth of field while the front selfie camera is 5MP snapper.
The K5 also features a rear fingerprint sensor, Dual SIM slots, on-screen buttons, 4G LTE connectivity support and depends on a large 4,000mAh built-in battery which is expected to last up to one or two days of mixed usage. It arrives in Ceramic White, Jet Black and Peacock Blue colour options.
The Oukitel K5 will go on sale later this month (November) or early December. There is no word on pricing, however, the company assures the device will be quite affordable.
