Oukitel K6000 Plus: MTK6750 SoC, Android 7.0, 6080mAh battery

At the MWC 2017, Oukitel took the wraps off a new battery-centric smartphone – the ‎Oukitel K6000 Plus. The new entrant to the K series family is a bit similar to the K6000 Pro, boots Android 7.0 Nougat OS and packs a long lasting 6080mAh battery with 12V/2A fast charging (goes from 0 to 100% in 100 minutes (1hr 40mins).

Sporting a full metallic body build said to be thinner and lighter than the Oukitel K6000 Pro, the K6000 Plus has a 5.5-inch AUO brand LCD display with 1920 x 1080 pixels (Full HD) screen resolution, a pixel density of 401 ppi and the fingerprint sensor has been moved from the rear to the home button.

Under the hood, the device relies on an octa-core Mediatek MT6750 (four cores @ 1GHz and the other four @ 1.5GHz) processor and photography is handled by a rear placed 16MP camera with OmniVision 16880 sensor and Phase Detection AutoFocus (PDAF). The front camera is a 8MP snapper with 80-degrees wide angle lens for selfies.

The rest of the Oukitel K6000 Plus specs as well as pricing and availability information is still up in the air. The device is expected to launch before the end of March.
