Oukitel is actively expanding its smartphone portfolio, notably in the U series. At the Global Sources Electronics Fair 2017 in Hong Kong (GSHK 2017) over a week ago, the Chinese device maker presented the Oukitel U11 Plus. The phablet is expected to be released in China and International markets.
Housed in body with aluminium alloy frame and polycarbonate back cover, the Oukitel U11 Plus sports a 5.7-inch AUO-made display with 1920 x 1080 pixels (Full HD) screen resolution and Asahi Dragontrail glass for protection. A fingerprint sensor sits below the main camera while a sizeable 3700mAh battery (with fast charging) keeps the lights on.
On the inside, the smartphone relies on an octa-core Mediatek MT6750T processor clocked at 1.5GHz paired with Mali-T860 MP2 GPU, 4GB of RAM and 64GB built-in storage. It boots Android 7.0 Nougat OS and supports 4G LTE Cat. 6 as well as Bluetooth 4.0, GPS and dual band Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n.
Photography is handled by a rear facing 13MP AF camera with dual LED flash while the front camera is also a 13MP snapper with LED flash. Both cameras are interpolated up to 16MP. The Oukitel U11 Plus is scheduled to go on pre-sale starting early May. While pricing details is not revealed, it will arrive in either White or Black colour option.
