Oukitel has reportedly commenced sales of its new mid-range smartphone, the Oukitel U18. The latest U series device, which has gone on sale in China, draws its design inspiration from two prominent flagships: the Huawei Mate 10 Pro for the back and the Apple iPhone X for the front.
The Oukitel U18 has a 5.85-inch FullScreen display with 1512 x 720 pixels (HD+) screen resolution, 2.5D curved glass, 21:9 aspect ratio and a notch design on top. The smartphone has a pixel density of 286.27 ppi, Zinc Alloy body frame, 3D curved back cover and rear fingerprint sensor.
The U18 is powered by an octa-core Mediatek MT6750T 64-bit processor paired with 4GB of RAM and 64GB built-in storage. It comes equipped with 16MP (SONY IMX135) + 5MP dual rear cameras, alongside a front facing 8MP (OV 8858) camera with face beauty for selfies and video chats.
For power, the Oukitel U18 relies on a 4,000mAh Li-Po battery with super long time standby and charges via a USB Type-C port with OTG support. It also has a Face ID Unlock feature for unlocking the device via scanning the face, and arrives in Gold and Black colour options.
