Chinese device maker, Oukitel has released the key specs of its upcoming dual camera (rear and front) smartphone – the Oukitel U22. This 3G-only device comes pre-loaded with Android 7.0 Nougat OS and is expected to go on sale by the end of June and pricing is tipped to be very wallet-friendly.
Like the Alcatel Flash (2017) and Bluboo D1, the Oukitel U22 has a total of 4 cameras (two each on the front and back) and a rear 360-degree fingerprint sensor. The main camera – a 13MP sensor is aided by a secondary 2MP sensor while the front camera is a primary 8MP sensor plus a secondary 2MP sensor.
Both set of cameras are aided by LED flash for improved shots in low-light conditions. The device sports a metal body frame with polycarbonate back plate, 5.5-inch (1280 x 720 pixels) HD IPS display with 2.5D curved glass, 2GB RAM and 16GB built-in storage (expandable up 32GB via microSD card).
On the inside, the Oukitel U22 relies on a quad-core Mediatek MT6580A cortex-A7 processor clocked at 1.3GHz and a 2,500 – 2,700mAh battery. It is expected to be available in four colour options including Jet Black and Pearl White colours.
