Panasonic Eluga A2 with 3GB RAM, VoLTE & 4000mAh Battery

Panasonic India has announced a new midrange smartphone in the Eluga series with high capacity battery and Voice over LTE called the Panasonic Eluga A2. The device sports a 5-inch (1280 x 720 pixels) HD display, measures 143.8 x 72 x 8.9 mm in dimensions and weighs in at 167.5 grams. It will arrive in Gold and Silver colour options for a price tag of Rs 9490 (USD 142).

Backed by a 4000mAh battery, the Panasonic Eluga A2 is powered by a quad-core processor (Mediatek Mt67clocked at 1.0GHz along with 3GB of RAM and 16GB built-in storage space. For additional storage space, there is a microSD card slot for storage expansion up to 128GB. For photography, there is rear facing 8-megapixxels camera and a front facing 5-megapixels camera for selfies.

Connectivity options on the device include – 4G LTE with VoLTE, Bluetooth v4.0, GPS with A-GPS and Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n. Along with the device, Panasonic is bundling a free screen guard worth Rs 399 (USD 6) along.

Commenting on the launch, Business Head (Mobility Division), Panasonic India, Pankaj Rana said; “With ELUGA A2, we aim to deliver maximum experience to our customers with a phone packed with features. Our new smartphone is a 4G VoLTE device with 3GB RAM and 4,000 mAh battery, thus, providing a better solution to consumers who want long operational hours on a 4G VoLTE,”
