Panasonic Eluga I7 Debuts with 5.45-Inch 18:9 Display, 4000mah Battery

Panasonic has released its first smartphone with FullView display in India. The Panasonic Eluga I7, as it is known, sports a 5.45-inch (1440 × 720 pixels) HD+ display with 18:9 aspect ratio and 2.5D curved glass, rear fingerprint sensor, dual SIM slots, and depends on a long-lasting 4,000mAh battery.

On the inside, the Panasonic Eluga I7 comes pre-loaded with the dated Android 7.0 Nougat OS and is based on the MediaTek MT6737H 64-bit quad-core processor paired with 2GB of RAM and 16GB built-in storage (expandable up to 128GB via microSD).

Photography is handled by rear and front 8MP cameras with LED flash on both sides. The device also comes with Trusted Face recognition and Trusted Voice features to allow the user unlock the devices by glancing at or speaking to their phone.

The Panasonic Eluga I7 will eventually feature the company’s AI-based Arbo Hub (available later via OTA update), which grants access to multiple apps and services on a single platform. Panasonic also partnered with app aggregators such as AccuWeather, Gamezop, MobiKwik, NewsPoint and Ola.

The smartphone is priced at INR 6,499 (US$ 98) and will be available exclusively on Flipkart starting April 24th. Black, Blue and Gold are the available colour options.
