Panasonic has launched a smaller variant of the Eluga S Selfie focused smartphone, the Panasonic Eluga S Mini as the device is known, would be available in the Indian market for INR 8990 in White and Grey colour options.
The smartphone keeps the same 5MP front camera for selfies which also comes with the Blink Play feature which allows users take selfies with a Blink or a Wink. The main camera is a 8MP Autofocus snapper with LED flash.
The Panasonic Eluga S Mini features a 4.7-inch display (0.3-inches less than the Eluga S) with 1280 x 720 pixels resolution. Under the hood, it is powered by an octa-core MediaTek processor clocked at 1.4GHz with 1GB of RAM and 8GB space of internal storage.
Connectivity options on the device includes – Bluetooth 4.0, GPS, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Wi-Fi Direct, micro USB, A-GPS and 3G. It measures 137.5 x 68.4 x 9.45mm in dimensions, weighs 135 grams and there is a microSD card slot for storage expansion (up to 32GB).
The Dual SIM enabled Panasonic Eluga S Mini runs on Android 4.4 Kitkat OS with FIT Home UI ontop and is backed by a 1980mAh battery.
