Panasonic has officially announced the company’s latest smartphone, the Panasonic Eluga U following the line of Eluga Series.
The Panasonic Eluga U features a 5-inch (1280 x 720 pixels) HD IPS OGS display protected with corning glass 3 protection. The device is powered by a 1.2 GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 processor with Adreno 305 GPU, 2GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage expandable up to 32GB via micro SD card support. On the rear is a 13MP rear camera with LED flash, which is also capable of 1080p video recording; and a front facing 2MP camera for selfies and video chats.

The Panasonic Eluga U measures 141.5 x 71.3 x 7.95mm, weighs 141grams, offers Dual-SIM (GSM + GSM) support, runs on Android 4.4 Kitkat out-of-the-box and is powered by a 2500mAh battery. Connectivity options on the device includes Wi-Fi, Wi-Fi Hotspot, Bluetooth 4.0, Wi-Fi Direct and GPS/AGPS.

The Panasonic Eluga U is available in Black and White colour variants and has been placed with a price tag of Rs 18,990 (~ N52,000 in Naira). The device would be available this week (First week in August).
Panasonic recently launched the Panasonic T41, P41 and P61 running on Android 4.4.2 Kitkat OS and all powering on a 1.3GHz Quad-core processor.
