Panasonic India has announced two new Eluga series smartphone – the Panasonic Eluga Z1 and Panasonic Z1 Pro. Both have basically the same features except that the Pro model packs 4GB of RAM and 64GB storage while the basic model has 3GB of RAM and 32GB storage.
Available in Black, Blue and Gold colours, the Panasonic Eluga Z1 (and Z1 Pro) sports a notched a 6.19-inch HD+ 2.5D Curved glass display, Dragon Trail Pro glass protection, rear fingerprint sensor, dual SIM slots, microSD card slot (up to 256GB cards) and a long lasting 4,000mAh battery.
On the inside, the device comes preloaded with Android 8.1 Oreo OS and is powered by the Mediatek Helio P22 (MT6762) octa-core processor. It features 13MP + 5MP dual rear cameras with LED flash and a front facing 8MP camera with LED flash, AI Beautify and face unlock support.
The Panasonic Eluga Z1 and Z1 Pro also come with panasonic’s AI powered ARBO Hub which provides users access to various apps and services, and recommendations. The basic Z1 is priced at INR 14,490 (US$ 198) while the Pro model costs INR 17,490 (US$ 239). They will be available from offline stores starting October 31, 2018.
Recently, the company unveiled the Panasonic Eluga X1 (4GB, 64GB – INR 22,990) and X1 Pro (6GB, 128GB – INR 26,990). Both models feature 16MP selfie camera, IR Face Unlock, 6.18-inch Full HD+ display with a notch and Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection, Mediatek Helio P60 octa-core processor, Dual 4G VoLTE and 16M + 5MP dual rear cameras.
