Panasonic has launched two new Android Lollipop OS running smartphones – the Panasonic P50 Idol and Panasonic P65 Flash. Both devices are more entry-level than mid-range in terms of specs and are priced at Rs 6790 ($104) and Rs 8290 ($127).
Starting with the Panasonic P65 Flash which is the bigger of the duo, it sports a 5.5-inch HD IPS display, powered by a quad-core processor clocked at 1.3GHz paired with 1GB of RAM, 8GB space of internal storage and for additional storage, there is a microSD card slot (up to 32GB).
The Dual SIM enabled phablet has aa 8MP camera with LED flash and a front facing 2MP cameras for selfies. Connectivity options on the device includes – GPS, Bluetooth 4.0, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n and 3G HSPA+. It measures 151 x 77.8 x 8.95mm in dimensions and weighs 168 grams.
The Panasonic P65 Flash runs Android 5.1 Lollipop OS and is backed by a 2910mAh battery. Metallic Gold and Metallic Silver are the available colour options.
Moving to the Panasonic P50 Idol, it share some specs with the above stated device but with some differences. It sports a 5-inch (1280 x 720) HD IPS display, measures 142 x 71.5 x 8.7mm in dimensions, weighs139 grams and is backed by a 2150mAh battery.
Available colour options includes – Fabrics Gold and Fabrics Silver. The rest of the specs are intact and are pretty much the same.
