Panasonic has announced the debut of its latest ‘P Series’ smartphone – the Panasonic P55 Max in India. It is available for a price tag of Rs. 8,499 (US$ 132) exclusively on Flipkart and expected to rival the Moto E4 Plus which also has a 5,000mAh battery but priced higher at Rs. 9,999 (US$ 155).
Available in Gold & Matte Black colours, the Panasonic P55 Max features a quad-core MediaTek MT6737 64-bit processor clocked at 1.25GHz, Mali-T720 GPU, 3GB RAM, and 16GB built-in storage (expandable up to 128GB via microSD). It has a 5.5-inch (1280 x 720 pixels) HD 2.5D curved glass display.
In the camera segment, there is a rear facing 13MP camera with quad LED flash and a front facing 5MP camera for selfies. The P55 Max has a metal body build, textured back design, micro USB port, USB OTG and 4G VoLTE support and 3.5mm audio jack but skips on a fingerprint sensor.
The Panasonic P55 Max measures 152 x 77.6 x 8.7 mm, weighs 180 grams and boots Android 7.0 Nougat OS with Panasonic’s UI.
